Are we in this together? Oh Yes!
The founding partners of Oh Yes! Net ZeroTM are Hull City Council, Marketing Humber, Reckitt and The University of Hull. This compelling collaboration from the private, public and education sectors is seeking to establish an innovative ‘Living Lab’ approach to securing a Low Carbon economy. It also has the involvement and support of the CBI and EY, has attracted the engagement of global businesses, and will provide an innovative economic model to help Hull and similar cities strive towards net zero.
Over 20 local organisations from across a range of sectors have already committed their support to the project too. The ambition is to now engage the whole community across as many additional businesses, organisations and individuals as possible.
This is an ambitious, large scale, cross city campaign that will touch every part of our life here as it aims to galvanize our entire city region to bring about positive change at a local, national and international level, as well as establishing Hull leading the way for net zero in the UK.
The Oh Yes! Net Zero campaign unites a growing number of initiatives across Hull and Humber, as business groups, organisations and communities work together to say Oh Yes! to a Net Zero future. It is part of the Hull & Humber Waterline Project, the regional campaign to accelerate the transition to a net zero future.
